This role is perfect for someone who loves a mix of day-to-day accounting operations and forward-looking financial strategy. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, driving insights, and supporting Coconut’s continued growth as a high-performing Canadian B2B SaaS company.</p><p></p><p>While we welcome applications from across Canada, we are headquartered in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and would be especially excited to hear from Saskatoon-based candidates. That said, we’re committed to hiring the best person for the role, and qualified candidates from anywhere in Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.</p><p></p><p>YOU’RE FIRED UP TO:</p><p></p><p>Support the preparation and review of monthly financial statements in accordance with ASPE.</p><p>Perform reconciliations, journal entries, and ensure accurate SaaS revenue recognition under ASPE.</p><p>Assist with annual audit, tax filings, and external reporting requirements.</p><p>Maintain accuracy of general ledger accounts and uphold internal controls.</p><p>Support monthly close and reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</p><p>Develop and manage KPI dashboards, and reporting to provide clear financial insights.</p><p>Partner with department leaders to coordinate and consolidate inputs for the annual budget.</p><p>Conduct variance analysis and identify key financial trends to support decision-making.</p><p>Build and refine financial models to guide business decisions.</p><p>Optimize and implement accounting & FP&A systems to enhance automation and efficiency.</p><p>Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Product to align financial plans with business priorities.</p><p>Lead or contribute to process improvements that streamline reporting and analysis.</p><p>Provide ad-hoc financial insights and support special projects as needed.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>CPA designation (required).</p><p></p><p>3-5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate accounting.</p><p></p><p>Experience at a Big Four accounting firm or in public accounting is considered a strong foundation for success in this role.</p><p></p><p>Strong understanding of ASPE accounting standards and operational finance.</p><p></p><p>Experience in SaaS or <span >software/technology</span> environments is considered an asset.</p><p></p><p>Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP and FP&A tools preferred.</p><p>Prior experience in FP&A and annual budgeting is an asset.</p><p></p><p>Exceptional analytical ability, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment.</p><p></p><p>Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across teams.</p><p></p><p>A proactive approach, juggling competing priorities with focus and flexibility.</p><p></p><p>You’ve got serious finance chops and an easygoing spirit; you know your debits from your credits and your coconuts from your palms</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Please apply directly to this website >>> </strong><strong><span >https://jobs.fillarole.ca/job</span>-<span >board/jobs/852/senior</span>-financial-analyst/saskatoon-<span >sk?utm_source=Workable</span>&<span >utm_medium=Referral</span>&<span >utm_campaign=Senior%20Financial%20Analyst</span></strong></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
