The MSC Canada team seeks a Senior Fisheries and Commercial Manager to promote MSC certification and build connections with fisheries, retailers, and seafood businesses, encouraging sustainability and ocean safeguarding.
Key skills and experience:
- A relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in fisheries, marine biology, commerce, or related fields.
- Experience working in or with the fishing sector, retail sector, or environmental organizations.
- Knowledge of the seafood industry, with existing contacts preferred.
- Excellent communication skills across media and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
- Fluency in English and French, spoken and written.
