If you're passionate about high-voltage systems, safety, and developing people, this role lets you turn your expertise into influence.</p><p>Join Shermco Canada as a Senior Training Specialist and help shape a safer, more skilled electrical workforce.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><br><p>What You'll Do</p><ul><li>Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on training for electricians, technicians, and engineers.</li> <li>Teach high-voltage systems, switchgear testing and maintenance, renewable energy systems, and substation operations.</li> <li>Design and update training materials aligned with industry standards and adult learning principles.</li> <li>Champion electrical safety using standards such as NFPA 70E or CSA Z462, including Arc Flash and Lockout/Tagout.</li> <li>Mentor learners and collaborate with fellow trainers and industry partners.</li> <li>Travel to training sites as required to support programs and learners.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><br><p>What You Bring</p><ul><li>7–10+ years as an industrial electrician, high-voltage tester, or electrical engineer.</li> <li>3–5 years of training, coaching, or mentorship experience.</li> <li>Strong hands-on knowledge of high-voltage systems, switchgear, renewables, and substations.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching.</li> <li>Comfortable using PowerPoint, Excel, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).</li></ul><p>Preferred: Electrical Technologist, Journeyperson Electrician, Electrical Engineering degree, Trainer certification, NFPA 70E or CSA Z462 Instructor.</p><p>Why Join Shermco Canada</p><ul><li>Make a real impact on electrical safety and workforce development.</li> <li>Grow your career beyond the field while staying connected to technical work.</li> <li>Be part of a respected leader in electrical testing and maintenance.</li></ul><p>Ready to Make the Move?</p><p>Apply now and help build safer, smarter electrical professionals — one learner at a time.</p><h2>Pay Range</h2>CAD $110, CAD $145,000.00 /Yr.Create Your Resume First
