Job description

Location: Mississauga (etobicoke)

Hybride mode: 3 times aweek at the office, 40 hours.


Duration: 6 months renewable.

Starting date: immediately


We are seeking an experienced IT project manager to join our client team in Mississauga area. As an IT project manager, you will be responsible for managing, planning, and coordinating IT projects, including managing multiple vendors. You will primarily work on network transition and security projects.


Requirements :

  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • PMP Certification would be a plus
  • Vendor management experience
  • Infrastructure experience
  • Transition and transformation program experience
  • Experience working in a PMO
  • Any experience with network or cybersecurity would be highly preferred
  • Skills in Microsoft Projects, DevOps, JIRA
  • 10+ years of experience as a project manager
  • Bilingual (English/French)

Responsibilities :

  • Define and deliver projects that support business goals
  • Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, using appropriate tools
  • Estimate and acquire resources, and coordinate the efforts of team members and external consultants to deliver projects according to plan
  • Oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Analyze results, troubleshoot problem areas, and bring solutions
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and consultants, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Perform other duties as required by the immediate supervisor and for which the person is qualified
