Our commitment to creative problem-solving, cost efficiency, and sustainable practices sets us apart, and<strong> our people are at the heart of it all.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>We’re looking for a <strong>Logistics Coordinator to be the central link </strong>between our carriers, project teams, and customers. You’ll <strong>manage</strong> <strong>shipments for major projects,</strong> ensuring materials, equipment, and supplies arrive on time and on budget.</p><p><br></p><p>Reporting to the Project Manager & Director, you’ll oversee all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics: from scheduling and tracking shipments to ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p><p>1. <strong>Shipment Coordination: </strong>Plan, book, and track shipments via truck, rail, ocean, and air to meet Required At Site (RAS) dates and construction schedules for large projects (Example: construction, mining)</p><p>2. <strong>Real-Time Tracking: </strong>Monitor loads in transit daily, resolve issues & proactively communicate changes to stakeholders.</p><p>3. <strong>Carrier & Partner Liaison: </strong>Work closely with shippers, carriers, warehouse teams & materials managers to align delivery schedules.</p><p>4. <strong>Data & Reporting:</strong> Maintain cargo, container and trailer registers with accurate, up-to-date status & location information.</p><p>5. <strong>Customs & Compliance</strong>: Partner with the Transportation Analyst to ensure all customs, TDG, and international freight requirements are met.</p><p>6. <strong>Documentation Management:</strong> Verify & organize all shipping documents (BOL, AWB, etc.) to ensure smooth handoffs and compliance.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Offer</strong></p><p><em>Must-Have:</em></p><ul><li>3+ years of experience in 3PL, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination</li><li><u>Proven</u> experience in multimodal transportation (land, ocean, air)</li><li>Superior Excel skills for data organization, reporting and management</li><li>Ability to work on-site in Cambridge, ON & occasional travel within the GTA or to project sites.
