<p>Location: Vancouver, BC</p>
<p>Expected Salary: $127,930 to $159,913</p>
<p>Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful candidate’s skills and experience and internal equity for the final salary. The final base salary offer is at the company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.</p>

<h3>In this role you will</h3>
<ul>
<li>Report directly to the Director of Aviation for Babcock Canada Inc.</li>
<li>Provide leadership and direction to a team of aviation professionals in line with Babcock’s six principles and model behavior expected across our business.</li>
<li>Anticipate, plan, and manage maintenance and operations as well as program needs for a fleet of 7 AW169s.</li>
<li>Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness to ensure alignment with business needs.</li>
<li>Provide timely, accurate, and comprehensive reporting to all levels of the business to support sound decisions and risk mitigation.</li>
<li>Develop and hold senior customer, industry and community partner relationships across the aviation sector.</li>
<li>Assume P&L responsibility for the BC Aviation business and ensure safe and successful contract performance.</li>
<li>Work effectively with peers across Babcock’s global network to embed best practices, technology solutions and enhanced service offerings supporting aviation growth.</li>
<li>Provide expertise to support business development in solution development.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<h3>The ideal candidate brings</h3>
<ul>
<li>10+ years of progressive experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.</li>
<li>University degree or equivalent professional qualification.</li>
<li>Experience in fixed or rotary‑wing operational environments, preferably air‑ambulance operations.</li>
<li>Evidence of building a high‑performing, safety‑focused culture with high engagement.</li>
<li>Experience managing safe, complex operational delivery in related areas.</li>
<li>Experience developing and maintaining long‑term relationships with public and private sector customers at a senior level.</li>
<li>Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment on shared goals.</li>
<li>Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders.</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).</li>
<li>Demonstrated performance excellence, especially financial results.</li>
<li>Strong commercial understanding of risk and contract management.</li>
<li>Eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance.</li>
