Job Description
The Senior Personal Lines Service Broker (Customer Service Professional) is primarily responsible for servicing current VIP client policies and providing support to the Personal Lines Customer Service team, all while providing a positive client experience. This position will be responsible for managing the client experience related to personal lines insurance policies including but not limited to policy changes, endorsements, claims and other client inquiries either digitally, over the phone or in person.<br><br>
<b>Primary Responsibilities</b> <br>
<br>• Provide support to team members on the customer service team<br>
<br>• Responsible for servicing the VIP portfolio for assigned team, including annual renewal reviews<br>
<br>• Answer incoming calls (queue) and welcome clients who visit our office in person<br>
<br>• Make payments or amendments to policies as requested within the binding authority of the insuring company<br>
<br>• Discuss coverages with clients and review policies based on their individual needs<br>
<br>• Champion company values and exemplify high caliber service and professionalism<br>
<br>• Document and report claims to insuring companies<br>
<br>• Assist the service team with escalated files as needed<br>
<br>• Work with the Farm and Commercial department to ensure mutual clients are serviced accordingly<br>
<br>• Handle cancellation inquiries from current clients<br>
<br>• Manage non-renewal files<br>
<br>• Sign applications with clients as needed<br>
<br>• Respond to carrier requests for information on existing policies<br>
<br>• Complete an ITV on system for property policies<br>
<br>• Use Applied Rating Services to establish accurate quotes<br><br><h3>Requirements</h3>
<b>Skills & Qualifications</b> <br>
<br>• Valid RIBO license in good standing<br>
<br>• 3+ years of experience working as an Insurance Broker<br>
<br>• Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and integrity<br>
<br>• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record for managing/coaching team members<br>
<br>• Works well within a team and independently, taking initiative to assist team members where needed<br>
<br>• Interacts with patience, enthusiasm and dedication<br>
<br>• Pays close attention to detail and multitasks with a high level of organization and accuracy<br>
