Senior Platform Engineer – RemoteExciting 12-month contract in the insurance industry for an experienced platform engineer skilled in Terraform, Jenkins, Azure, and Databricks. Work on cutting-edge Data & AI infrastructure in a hybrid/remote setup, contributing to strategic AIOps initiatives and GenAI adoption.What is in it for you:• Salaried: $68 to $72 per hour.• Incorporated Business Rate: $82 to $86 per hour.• 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.• Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.Responsibilities: You will support a strategic initiative within the Global Wealth and Asset Management line of business, focused on building and maintaining scalable Data & AI platforms on Azure cloud infrastructure.
The role involves extensive use of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), DevOps practices, and AIOps capabilities with tools like Log Analytics Workspaces and Moogsoft.• Build and manage platform components using predefined IaC modules and DevOps tools.• Deploy, monitor, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and related services.• Design, implement, and support AIOps capabilities using modern observability tools.• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including security, risk, and architecture, to ensure alignment with compliance and operational standards.• Manage and update tasks in JIRA; participate actively in daily and weekly Agile standups.• Investigate and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner.What you will need to succeed:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.• Relevant technical certifications preferred.• 7+ years of experience with Terraform.• 7+ years of experience deploying and managing Azure cloud infrastructure.• 5+ years of experience with Jenkins and Groovy scripting.• 5+ years of experience with APIM/APIOps.• 3+ years of experience with Databricks or similar Datalake/lakehouse platform administration.• Experience with AI/GenAI stack build and operations (nice-to-have).• Experience in Data & Analytics project environments (nice-to-have).• Platform automation using Python or other scripting tools (nice-to-have).• Strong communication and documentation skills.Why Recruit Action?Recruit Action (agency permit: AP-2504511) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
