Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact clinical and operational transformation initiatives. This is a 12-month contract opportunity ideal for a strategic project leader who thrives in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments and has a passion for improving access to care.
You will work closely with senior leadership and clinical teams to assess current service models, define future-state pathways, and implement new tools and processes to enhance care delivery. A strong focus on change management, stakeholder engagement, and project evaluation is critical for success in this role.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle project delivery: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement improved models of care.
- Build and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, risks, and budgets.
- Facilitate clinical and operational working groups and steering committees.
- Oversee stakeholder communications, training plans, and change management strategies.
- Develop executive-level presentations, status reports, and evaluation summaries.
- Support procurement processes and contract/vendor oversight where required.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to internal and external project contributors.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5–8+ years of progressive project management experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale clinical transformation and/or healthcare IT projects.
- Experience with change management frameworks and evaluation planning.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, including with executive audiences.
- Familiarity with healthcare operations and patient care pathways strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of project tools an asset.
- PMP certification is an asset.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendors is a strong asset.
Education
- Master’s degree in Health Administration, Health Informatics, Public Health, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Benefits
- If contributing to HOOPP : 6% vacation pay + 12% benefit pay.
- If not contributing to HOOPP : 6% vacation pay in lieu + 14% benefit pay in lieu.
