Title: Senior Project Manager, Construction

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Moncton office. Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Project Manager will oversee large-scale electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and on budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver multiple electrical projects from start to finish.
• Oversee all aspects of project management including estimating support, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
• Lead and mentor project teams, including project coordinators, site supervisors, and electricians.
• Monitor project performance, manage risk, and implement corrective actions as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality specifications, and company policies.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes within Gardner Electric.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of project management experience in the electrical or construction industry.
• Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven track record of managing large electrical projects ($5M+).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction practices.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• PMP designation or Gold Seal Certification (or working toward) is considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
