<span ><span ><strong><span >About Our Client </span></strong></span></span><br><span ><span ><span >Our client is sourcing a Senior Risk Analyst for a 6-month contract. </span></span></span><br><br><span ><span ><strong><span >About the Opportunity</span></strong></span></span><ul><li ><span ><span ><span >Assess insolvency risk of CIRO Member Firms (Investment Dealers and Mutual Fund Dealers)</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Analyze Member Firms’ financial filings, business operations, and capital adequacy</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Monitor financially distressed firms by liaising with CIRO Managers/Examiners</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Research and evaluate operational, market, credit, and liquidity risks tied to new products, exemptions, and industry trends</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Review CIRO correspondence and assess impact of capital policy changes</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Support quarterly and integration assessment processes, including validation and calculation of assessment model inputs and outputs</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Validate Client Net Equity (CNE) deductions, Asset Locations, and determine Capital Deficiency Assessments</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Explain Risk Ratings and Assessments to Member Firms as needed</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Administer Assessment Appeal Procedures and ensure compliance with documentation and communication standards</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Prepare analysis and reports for Risk Committee, identifying key risks and proposing mitigation solutions</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Assist in administration of insolvent Member Firms and support special reviews or assignments</span></span></span></ul><br><span ><span ><strong><span >About You</span></strong></span></span><ul><li ><span ><span ><span >CPA designation, or CSE</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Relevant experience in audit or regulatory, wealth management, brokerages</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Exposure to CIRO/IIROC rules, filings, and brokerage back-office operations, compliance/regulatory</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Strong Excel and data analysis skills</span></span></span><li ><span ><span ><span >Familiarity with risk assessments and capital adequacy principles</span></span></span></ul><br><span ><span ><strong><span >How to Apply</span></strong></span></span><br><span ><span ><span >Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
