The Senior Staff Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial records, supporting tax compliance, and providing meaningful financial insights to clients.<br><br>What You’ll Do: <ul><li>Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliations</li><li>Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with professional standards</li><li>Support personal and corporate tax compliance activities</li><li>Participate in month-end and year-end close processes</li><li>Collaborate with clients to provide budgeting support and strategic financial insights</li><li>Contribute to process improvements and internal best practices</li></ul> What You Bring: <ul><li>Professional accounting education; CPA designation or progress toward it is an asset</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management</li><li>Experience in tax preparation and compliance for both individuals and corporations</li><li>Previous experience in a public accounting or professional services environment is preferred</li><li>Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills</li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities</li><li>Experience working with entrepreneurial or owner-managed businesses is an asset</li></ul> Why Join?<br /> This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a collaborative and client-focused firm where your work will have a direct impact.
