Summary
The Service Manager will be performing administrative duties such as communicating with vendors, OEMS, greeting customers or answering phone calls, and opening/closing work orders.
Key Activities
- Mentoring the service staff by promoting an environment where they can grow and excel.
- Managing a team of Service Technicians and Advisors.
- Developing a working knowledge of industry laws and regulations to ensure their service department complies.
- Maintaining customer relationships to ensure repeat customers by handling customer concerns in a timely manner.
- Regularly audits work being done and customer service being provided to ensure all standards are met and repair work is carried out effectively, correctly, and thoroughly.
- Oversees team members performing inspections, preparing reports, and doing repairs; if necessary, carries out these job duties personally to ensure highest quality of work.
- Ensuring all services are operating in line with the vision and values of City View.
- Effectively managing risk.
- Managing resources.
- Direct and oversee the service policies and objectives.
- Develop service standards and practices.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Educations & Experience
- Proven experience in a service management or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
