Job Description
<p><p>Brandt is currently looking for a Field Heavy Equipment Technician - Material Handling for our Lloydminster location. The Heavy Equipment Technician Material Handling independently performs basic/complex diagnostics, service maintenance and repair work on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment on an efficient basis. Resolves customer issues to their satisfaction on a timely basis.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Work within budgets and approvals provided by the Service Manager.</li>
<li>Maintain a high level of productivity, efficiency, and gross margin.</li>
<li>Accurately record all work done for customer and warranty records.</li>
<li>Maintain current product knowledge of equipment specific to industry/branch location.</li>
<li>Perform basic/complex power equipment diagnostics to determine repair needs.</li>
<li>Diagnose and repair all related systems (disassembly, assembly, and repair).</li>
</ul>
<h3>Required Skills</h3>
<ul>
<li>Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and propane systems.</li>
<li>Demonstrated diagnostic skills to understand mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine powered material handling equipment.</li>
<li>Experience with the use of hand tools and measuring devices, and electrical/electronic diagnostic tools/measurements.</li>
