The Solution Architect – ITAM is a key member of the Service Management Tools team, responsible for designing the application and translating client business requirements into technical specifications. The architect collaborates with project managers, technical architects, and team members to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in process flow analysis and redesign
- Provide architecture and technical guidance for design and implementation
- Conduct demonstrations of custom or out-of-the-box solutions as needed
- Offer subject matter expertise and industry best practices
- Create detailed functional design documents aligned with customer needs
- Collaborate with other technical architects to develop technical specifications for custom development and system integration
- Contribute to effort estimation processes
- Maintain current ServiceNow knowledge through self-study and training
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with proven experience in ServiceNow technologies
- Organized and analytical, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro/SAM Pro, SGC & SaaS integrations (e.g., SCCM, Tanium, WorkspaceOne, Adobe)
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configuration, custom development, and scoped applications
- Knowledge of client-side and server-side development (UI policies, scripts, APIs, business rules)
- Understanding of ServiceNow Content Service for Software/Hardware Asset Management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Knowledge of web and enterprise system architecture
- Participation in project methodologies
- 5-7 years in professional services or customer support operations
- 3-6 years in ServiceNow systems integration/implementation
- Solutions consulting experience
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and solution simplification
- Understanding of CSDM
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS HAM Pro, CIS SAM Pro)
