<p>Shipper / Receiver – Fabrication Shop</p><p>Triple Crown Enterprises (TCE) | Hamilton, ON</p><p>Triple Crown Enterprises (TCE) is a leading general contractor specializing in civil and electrical construction, automated electrical solutions, steel fabrication, and design. We're proud of our work and our people and are currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our Fabrication Shop team in Hamilton.</p><p>What We Offer</p><ul><li>Competitive pay (starting at $25+/hour, based on experience)</li><li>RRSP matching</li><li>Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, life insurance)</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Company events</li><li>Boot program</li><li>Monday–Friday, day shift (8 hours)</li></ul><p>Key responsibilities</p><ul><li>Identify, label, move, sort, pack and unpack materials (with assistance or utilizing material handling equipment) as required</li><li>Ship, receive, sort, record/document, distribute and maintain inventories of materials</li><li>Assist Supervisor to organize and oversee logistics of the fabrication shop's established work priorities</li><li>Movement of goods throughout the shop and (outdoor) yard via crane or forklift</li><li>Hands on - packing and stacking</li><li>Prepare and submit various reports, including waybills, packing slips</li><li>Ensue smooth operation of the fabrication shop, report any issues to Management</li><li>Perform daily job safety analysis for activities</li><li>Ensure co-workers, guests, and others in the warehouse/yard area are working in a safe manner and utilizing the required person protective equipment at all times</li><li>Other duties as required</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>High school diploma required</li><li>3+ years experience in a warehouse or fabrication/industrial shop</li><li>Forklift and/or crane certification an asset</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks</li><li>Team-oriented, proactive, and safety focused</li><li>Knowledge of steel sizes and shapes considered an asset</li></ul><p>Equal Opportunity Employer<br><br>Triple Crown Enterprises is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing an inclusive, barrier-free workplace.
