<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>We are currently hiring for an experienced shunter for our client in Brampton, ON.</p><p>Location: <strong>Brampton, ON</strong></p><p>Shift- <span >Morning/Afternoon/Overnight</span></p><p><strong><br /></strong></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Move and position trailers, containers, and trucks within the yard as directed.<br /></li><li>Perform regular yard checks to monitor trailer locations.<br /></li><li>Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and yard staff to ensure efficient flow of equipment.<br /></li><li>Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of shunt trucks/trailers.<br /></li><li>Complete basic paperwork and maintain accurate records.<br /></li><li>Follow all safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents or delays.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid drivers license</li><li>Prior experience of 2 years as a shunter is a requirement.</li><li>Good backing skills are an asset.</li><li>Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and yard operations.</li></ul><p></p><p>Pay rate- $23 per/hour</p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
