About the Opportunity:
We’re working on behalf of a long-standing GC in the ICI sector that is actively hiring a Site Superintendent to oversee full-cycle construction execution on new build projects. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on structure, site leadership, and building high-performance teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily site operations on new ICI builds, including scheduling, trade coordination, and safety enforcement.
- Lead site meetings and report project status to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship, site cleanliness, and adherence to project specifications.
- Mitigate delays and conflicts through proactive problem-solving and on-site decision-making.
- Uphold rigorous compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years of superintendent experience in ICI construction (schools, recreational centres, community builds, etc.).
- Hands-on expertise with concrete, steel, and envelope systems in large-scale new builds.
- Strong ability to lead trade teams and enforce schedules.
- Familiarity with Procore, MS Project, and other site management tools.
- Gold Seal Certification or equivalent is an asset.
