<p>Software Developer- Platform Virtual Services</p><p>Location: Vancouver, BC Canada</p><p>Duration: FTE</p><p>Job Description:</p><p>As a Developer you will develop and maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions), including development activities like requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, PLM support, product documentation.</p><p>Responsibilities & Tasks:</p><ul><li>Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling</li><li>Develop and Test High Quality Products</li><li>Perform Trouble Shooting and Customer Support</li><li>Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes</li></ul><p>Position Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Experience with KVM, Xen and VMwareVirtualization<br></li><li>Experience with OpenStack</li><li>Experience with Linux kernel troubleshooting</li><li>Good knowledge of IP networking</li><li>Knowledge of x86 Intel HW (especially Virtualization concepts)</li><li>Knowledge of UNIX OS concepts (Booting phase, Interrupts, kernel dumps)</li><li>Strong C/C++ programming skill</li><li>Experience with Python</li><li>Must know how to integrate various components in the platform</li><li>Good unit testing and system integration skills</li><li>Must know how to use various Linux tools to analyze a performance problem</li><li>Must know how to design and write scalable and efficient code.</li><li>Should have basic knowledge of Networking concepts and Routers</li><li>Should have basic knowledge scripting (perl/shell scripts/python)</li><li>Product Development Knowledge</li><li>Product Life Cycle Management Knowledge</li><li>Business Understanding</li><li>Lean and Agile Knowledge and Skills</li><li>Working with People</li><li>Relating and Networking</li><li>Adapting and Responding to Change</li><li>Creating and Innovating</li><li>Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations</li><li>Planning and Organizing</li></ul>
