Job Description
Java developer required full-time on-site.<br><br>We are seeking a Full-Stack Java developer who designs, develops, tests, and maintains Java-based applications and software. This role involves a deep understanding of Java programming, frameworks like Spring and Hibernate, and the ability to collaborate with teams to deliver robust, efficient, and scalable solutions.<br>THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL WORK IN OUR OFFICE IN VANCOUVER, BC.<br><br>
Key Responsibilities:<br>Design and Development:<ul><li>Creating Java-based applications and software from scratch or modifying existing ones. This includes analyzing user needs, designing solutions, and writing code to meet those needs.</li></ul>
Testing and Debugging:<ul><li>Ensuring the quality of the code by conducting thorough testing, identifying and fixing bugs, and optimizing performance.</li></ul>
Maintenance and Support:<ul><li>Providing ongoing maintenance and support for Java applications, including troubleshooting issues and implementing necessary updates and improvements.</li></ul>
Collaboration:<ul><li>Working closely with other developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that applications meet business requirements and align with organizational goals.</li></ul>
Staying Current:<ul><li>Keeping up-to-date with the latest Java technologies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure the development of high-quality, efficient, and secure software.</li></ul>
<br>Essential Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>Front End development: Strong React experience.</li><li>Java Programming: Strong proficiency in Java programming language and its core concepts.</li><li>Frameworks: Experience with Java frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.</li><li>Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.</li><li>Database Technologies: Familiarity with database concepts and experience with relational databases.</li><li>Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.</li><li>Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.</li></ul>
