About The Role
NFP focuses on crafting smart solutions for business risks. We seek a Mid Market P&C Broker responsible for marketing new and renewal business, managing placements, and ensuring client needs are met efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Negotiate with insurance carriers to drive revenue and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Managers on coverage strategies and marketing initiatives.
- Attend client meetings to enhance communication skills.
- Coordinate submissions, respond to queries, and analyze quotes.
- Prepare coverage analyses and reports.
- Develop relationships with underwriters and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate client and policy data in NFP’s Epic system.
- Stay informed on market trends and attend industry events.
What You Bring
- Provincial P&C License (required or obtained within 90 days).
- 8-10 years of insurance experience, with industry specialization an asset.
- Experience in Manufacturing and Realty preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Epic system experience a plus.
