The work will be intense, but never boring!</p><p>Perks of Being a CGI Co-op</p><p>The co-op internship program is designed to help students improve their skills and explore their professional interests through hands-on experience and professional guidance, while also allowing them to develop core competencies.</p><p>As an intern, you’ll have access to:</p><ul><li>Professional development sessions</li><li>A professional development platform</li><li>Networking events with colleagues and leaders</li><li>Mentorship from leaders and colleagues to help set and achieve your career goals</li></ul><p>Start Date: January 5, 2026</p><p>Application Deadline: September 26, 2025</p><p>Your future duties and responsibilities</p><ul><li>Understanding client requirements and system specifications</li><li>Developing web applications and components according to best practices established by the team</li><li>Developing the required functional and technical documentation</li><li>Ensuring programming quality through rigorous testing</li><li>Reviewing code and suggesting improvements</li><li>Documenting technical processes</li><li>Managing the technical knowledge library</li><li>Deploying non-production code or code automation scripts</li></ul><p><b>Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role</b></p><ul><li>Study computer science/computer engineering or a related field</li><li>Develop specifications, code, test, debug, document, and ensure successful program implementation and maintenance</li><li>Experience in object-oriented design, back-end development, and user interface development</li><li>Knowledge of Python, Copilot Github (an asset), React (an asset)</li><li>Thorough understanding of database design principles, query execution plans, stored procedures, and SQL scripting languages (PL/SQL, TSQL)</li></ul><p>This is an exciting opportunity to join a winning team at CGI.
