Responsibilities
We are looking for an exceptional Strategic Advisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Participating as a strategic advisor in services engagements
- Helping define and shape Workato Advisory Services by creating reusable content in advance of and during advisory services engagements
- Participating in defining and advancing Workato frameworks, such as Workato’s GEARS and Workato’s Embedded Product Guide
- Being a Workato evangelist with the ability to discover and demonstrate how Workato can effectively help companies with their business automation needs across a broad set of industries through professional services engagements
- Leading customer constituencies in critical functions such as: best practices, enterprise architecture target state or rationalization, Workato suitability guidance for use cases, advanced prototyping, recipe implementation, and Workato Accelerators
- Developing and contributing subject matter expertise and advisory deliverables to internal best practices and Solution repository
- Aligning with key customer stakeholders to create advisory roadmaps to advance automation objectives
- Applying Workato’s GEARS or Embedded Product Guide methodologies to customer environments
- Coaching key customer stakeholders on security and governance best practices related to the platform
- Advising on recipe lifecycle management and supporting technology/process implementation
- Guiding customers on integration prioritization and reusability considerations
- Becoming a trusted advisor on overall solutions, architecture, implementation, and governance
- Contributing to professional services content such as presentations, demos, white papers, and online courses
- Leading, mentoring, and training team members from pre-sales and post-sales teams
- Participating in pre and post-sales activities with customers and partners
- Developing content for coaching our partner ecosystem on delivery best practices
- Conducting hands-on customer training, design sessions, and product support
Requirements
Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; non-traditional experience may also be considered
- 12+ years of technology transformation consulting experience, including with integration or middleware solutions and/or API Management
- 5+ years as an Enterprise or digital architect
- Ability to evangelize best practices across large organizations
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders from C-level to engineering teams
- Ability to develop engaging materials for diverse audiences
- Understanding of security and governance in large enterprises
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with visual presentation ability
- Continuous learner with a track record of driving technology expansion
- Proven success in leading customer/partner success and solution design
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and in distributed teams
- Experience leading solution architecture, enterprise architecture, and change management projects
- Willingness to travel up to 50% or more depending on circumstances
Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics
- Master’s degree preferred but not required; similar proven experience is acceptable
- Knowledge of applications like Salesforce, Netsuite, Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, databases
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience in startup environments is a plus
