What Will You Do?
- Lead and contribute to the design and analysis of structural components (concrete, aluminum, and steel)
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, models, and calculations
- Conduct field investigations, site inspections, and condition assessments
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project integration and compliance
- Support permitting processes and prepare technical documentation, specifications, and cost estimates
- Use software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, and ETABS
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and code compliance standards
What Do You Bring?
- 3+ years of experience in civil, mechanical, or structural engineering
- Strong understanding of Canadian building codes and safety standards (OBC, NBCC, CSA, OSHA) Proficiency in structural design software and modeling tools
- Excellent communication, coordination, and report-writing skills
- P.Eng. designation (or eligibility) preferred
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites
- Bonus: experience in bridge/seismic design or structural rehabilitation; PMP certification
