NATT Tools Group Inc is hiring for our Hamilton, Ontario plant.

We are looking for people for our Sweep Cell Area. The work entails using long heavy metal tongs to pick up metal blades place them into a rotary furnace and once they have been “baked” take them out of the furnace, using the tongs and putting them into a press. You work in a four-five person team rotating every 20 or so minutes.

Other duties involve working the press, packing boxes, building boxes, driving a lift truck, etc.

This is very hard physical work and involves working in front of a furnace in temperatures close to 1800 degrees F. It is hot, dusty, and dirty.

Shift work is required. This current position works on an 8 hour schedule, 7am-3pm days, 3pm-11pm afternoons, 11pm-7am nights.

This position is being filled to help with a backlog of orders. Once the backlog of orders is fulfilled, a layoff is expected. Anticipated that there is only to support a few months of work.


What do you need to successfully apply?

- Be able to work in Canada.

- Have excellent written and verbal English skills.

- Be able to pass a criminal/background screening test.

- Be able to lift 50 pounds.

- Be able to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, and nights.) We operate on a 24/7 schedule.

- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
