Business Intelligence Lead
Fulltime permanent Role
Role Impact:
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead – Business Intelligence with a strong focus on Tableau development, administration, operations, and advancement. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation, enhancement, and scalability of Tableau as an enterprise analytics tool. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of experience in business intelligence and analytics, with expertise in high-quality dashboard development, Tableau cloud administration, operations, performance optimization, and delivering enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions.
What you will deliver:
- Collaborate with Business Solutions Analysts and Product Owners to understand solution requirements, identify risks, and determine architectural patterns.
- Create technical designs that address business needs, including system integrations, business intelligence solutions, and mobile applications.
- Create and maintain reference documentation for development teams.
- Assist development teams in solution development when required.
- Lead technical design sessions with team members and external vendors.
- Ensure technical designs align with long-term strategies and organizational standards.
- Develop and maintain solutions in compliance with security policies and architectural guidelines.
- Guide other IT team members during solution development and implementation phases.
- Stay current with industry best practices and recommend new patterns, frameworks, and technologies.
What your strengths are:
- Hands-on experience with Tableau dashboards, SQL, and Data warehousing.
- 80% focus on dashboard development and quality.
- Technical leadership in managing Tableau Cloud, best practices, and development templates.
- Excellent knowledge of architectural design patterns.
- Experience with major Cloud providers’ infrastructure and services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Understanding of solution development lifecycle concepts.
- Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS concepts.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and logical approach.
What you need to succeed:
- Post-secondary education in IT or Computer Science.
- At least 7 years of application software development experience.
- Minimum 3 years of architecting and designing business solutions.
- Experience with Agile development methodology.
