<p><h3>What you will be doing</h3><p>Salary: $65,000 to $80,000</p><p>Reason for vacancy: This is a backfill for an existing vacancy within the team.</p><p>We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Talent Acquisition Specialist who enjoys owning full-cycle recruitment and partnering closely with leaders to hire technical sales professionals and engineers in a fast-paced, growth environment.</p><p>Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role is ideal for a Talent Acquisition professional who thrives in a roll-up-your-sleeves recruiting environment and wants to make a visible impact on business growth. You will manage recruitment end to end while continuously strengthening hiring practices, candidate experience, and talent pipelines.</p><h3>Key Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding across multiple roles and locations, ensuring timely, high-quality hires that support organizational growth.</li><li>Partner closely with hiring managers across multiple locations to understand technical requirements, team needs and hiring priorities.</li><li>Own the candidate experience by proactively sourcing talent, building strong talent pipelines, and conducting structured, behavioural interviews.</li><li>Track and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness) to continuously improve hiring outcomes.</li><li>Support DEIB best practices across recruitment and onboarding to promote fair, inclusive, and unbiased hiring decisions.</li></ul><h3>What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li>Recruit for a range of roles with a strong emphasis on technical sales, engineering, and specialized positions</li><li>Proactively source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, career fairs, industry and alumni associations, and targeted outreach</li><li>Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles</li><li>Coordinate summer positions/university/college Co-Op recruitment cycles.</li><li>Manage offers, negotiations, and onboarding to ensure a smooth and positive experience for candidates and hiring leaders</li><li>Use structured interview tools and scoring methods to support objective hiring decisions</li><li>Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting using the ATS (ADP WorkForceNow is an asset)</li><li>Stay current on labour market trends, sourcing strategies, and compensation insights</li></ul><h3>COMMUNICATION</h3><p>Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.</p><p>Establish and maintain positive collaborative relationships with customers.</p><h3>TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION</h3><p>Create and maintain a team atmosphere and ensure employee concerns are resolved promptly.</p><h3>PROBLEM SOLVING</h3><p>Be able to recommend creative solutions to various issues that may arise.</p><h3>QUALITY</h3><p>Ensure employees understand and adhere to ISO policies and procedures.</p><h3>PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT</h3><p>Participate in conferences, seminars, and other educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintain and participate in professional networks to enhance your knowledge and skills.</p><p>Participates on committees and special projects as requested.</p><h3>What you bring to the table</h3><p>5+ years of hands-on recruitment experience, ideally in a growth-oriented or multi-location organization</p><p>Proven success recruiting technical, specialized, or sales-driven roles (engineering, automation, industrial, or technical sales experience is a strong asset)</p><p>Strong sourcing capability and confidence engaging passive candidates</p><p>Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and influencing hiring decisions</p><p>Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while remaining organized and responsive</p><p>ATS experience (ADP WorkForceNow is an asset)</p><p>Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills</p><p>Don\'t have all of these qualifications?
