Our client manufactures pumps and is looking for a sales rep in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to sell into the contractor and building services space. You will be developing new business, taking care of existing customers and developing relationships with engineering firms.
Territory: Greater Toronto and Ottawa area
Workplace: Work from home (located in GTA area)
Products/Services: Pumps
Salary: Base $70,000-$75,000
Commissions/Bonus: 25% bonus (paid twice a year)
Car allowance: $1,000 monthly

Functions:
- Develop and implement a territory sales plan aligned with regional goals and revenue targets.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and market intelligence.
- Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
- Promote our products designed for construction applications, including domestic water supply, HVAC systems, sump and sewage systems, and booster systems.
- Prepare and deliver technical quotations and commercial proposals in collaboration with internal teams.
- Participate in contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company pricing strategies and commercial terms.
Requirements:
Development vs Maintenance: 60% vs 40%
Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%
Languages: Excellent written and spoken English
Education: Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
Training: On the job training provided
Overnight Travel: Up to 10% overnight travel required
Years of experience: 3 – 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in pumps, fluid handling systems or mechanical equipment.

Transferable contacts: Contacts within the building and contractor industry is an asset
Transferable Knowledge: Knowledge of pumps and/or fluid handling is an asset
