About the role<p>We’re looking for a <b>Toy & Collectibles Designer</b> to help concept and design physical products across <b>plush, vinyl, blind box figures, and art toys</b> — products that are meant to live on shelves, not just screens.</p><p>This role sits at the intersection of <b>character design, toy culture, and retail reality</b>. You’ll be designing concepts that can actually be manufactured, scaled, and sold globally.</p>What you’ll do<ul><li>Concept original <b>plush, vinyl, and collectible toy designs</b></li><li>Develop <b>character silhouettes, proportions, and expressions</b></li><li>Create <b>sketches, turnarounds, colorways, and basic spec direction</b></li><li>Design with <b>manufacturing constraints</b> in mind (materials, size, cost)</li><li>Collaborate with production teams to take concepts toward factory execution</li><li>Help shape blind box assortments, rarity tiers, and collectible logic</li><li>Adapt designs across different IPs, brands, and collaborations</li></ul>What we’re looking for<ul><li>3+ years designing <b>toys, collectibles, or consumer products</b></li><li>Strong portfolio showing <b>physical toy concepts</b> (not just illustration)</li><li>Experience with <b>plush and/or vinyl</b> (both is a big plus)</li><li>Understanding of <b>retail, blind box culture, and collectibles</b></li><li>Ability to think commercially, not just creatively</li><li>Comfortable iterating fast and collaborating with manufacturing partners</li></ul>Bonus points<ul><li>Experience with <b>POP MART / Mighty Jaxx / Kidrobot-style products</b></li><li>Blind box or collectible series experience</li><li>Familiarity with factory handoff or overseas production</li><li>Passion for toy culture, street culture, or fandom-driven IP</li></ul><p><br></p>
