TRADE PERSON / SKILLED HANDY PERSON
Firma Contracting is currently seeking a Trades Person / Skilled Handy Person to work on projects located in Saskatoon. We offer competitive wages, work / life balance, great opportunity for advancement, training, benefits and RRSP plan.
Responsibilities:
- Restoration scopes of work
- Some carpentry work, including framing
- Drywalling
- Flooring removal and installation
- Finishing work
- Painting
- Project quality management
- General site housekeeping
Qualifications:
- Previous restoration experience is required
- Removal experience for commercial and residential scopes
- Carpentry / framing experience
- Drywalling experience
- Flooring install experience
- Painting experience
- Ability to work long hours (10+ hour days) outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical able to perform heavy manual tasks, including lifting, shoveling, moving heavy materials up to 50lbs
- Working understanding of site hazard assessments and able to complete daily safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Be fit for duty and prepared for work each day
- Positive attitude / team player
- Strong communication / listening skills and ability to follow direction
