We’re hiring an experienced Senior Training Specialist to lead the delivery of large-scale training programs supporting Ontario’s province-wide Public Safety Radio Network (PSRN) implementation for emergency health services.
Hybrid: 3 days onsite (Toronto, Guelph, Hamilton, Sudbury, or Vaughan), 2 days remote
Contract Length: 180 business days (with possible extension)
️ What You’ll Work On:
️ Deliver interactive training for over 9,000 paramedics and emergency staff across 23 ambulance dispatch centres (CACCs)
️ Build, document, and execute training strategies, plans, and materials for both technical and non-technical users
️ Support the successful rollout of critical systems for 911 call-taking and ambulance dispatch under the PSRN initiative
️ Travel across Ontario to provide on-site training, guidance, and user support for first responders
Key Skills We’re Looking For:
5+ years designing and delivering training programs, ideally within public sector or paramedic/dispatch environments
Proven experience creating training documentation and managing training rollouts across large operational teams
Ability to train a variety of audiences, from dispatchers to frontline responders, across technical and non-technical domains
Experience with public safety radio systems, telecom tools, or dispatch technologies
Strong communication, project coordination, and organizational skills-comfortable leading training sessions at scale
Bonus: Familiarity with GIS systems, Automated Vehicle Locators (AVL), or the healthcare/emergency services sector
