Job Title: Bookkeeper (Full-Time)

Location: Head office
Reports To: Leadership


Position Overview:

Tress Lounge is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support our financial operations for our Head office location: 8501 Mississauga Road. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records of day-to-day financial transactions, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting and compliance.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts
  • Track accounts payable/receivable, expenses, payroll, and commissions
  • Maintain accurate records for product inventory and salon sales
  • Support preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Assist with GST/HST filings and other tax documentation
  • Communicate with vendors and salon managers regarding discrepancies or financial issues
  • Prepare financial data for review with Leadership and external accountant


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Prior experience in retail, beauty, or multi-location business preferred


Compensation:

  • Performance-based, tied to accuracy, timely reporting, and financial compliance
  • Includes a fixed base with bonuses for efficiency, cost savings, or audit readiness
  • This is an on-site role
