<p><b>Position Summary:</b></p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <b>UKG Timekeeping Lead</b> to<b> </b>lead the strategic oversight and day-to-day operations of payroll and workforce management systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in UKG Pro (formerly UltiPro) and UKG WFM, with a proven track record of system optimization, compliance management, team leadership, and process improvement.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <b>Payroll Management:</b></p><ul><li>Oversee all aspects of payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees using UKG Pro.</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.</li><li>Manage payroll audits, reconciliations, year-end processing, and reporting (W-2s, 941s, etc.).</li><li>Coordinate with Finance and HR to ensure data integrity, funding, and reporting accuracy.</li><li>Handle complex payroll situations, garnishments, retro pay, and multi-state tax scenarios.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Workforce Management (WFM):</b></p><ul><li>Lead the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of UKG WFM (Timekeeping, Scheduling, Accruals).</li><li>Partner with HR and Operations to ensure WFM setup aligns with labor policies, union rules, and compliance standards.</li><li>Monitor system accuracy related to hours worked, overtime, shift differentials, and paid time off.</li><li>Drive user adoption, training, and ongoing support for timekeepers and managers.</li></ul><p><b>Team & Project Leadership:</b></p><ul><li>Manage and mentor payroll and HRIS staff or third-party providers.</li><li>Lead UKG system upgrades, enhancements, and module rollouts.</li><li>Collaborate with IT, HR, Benefits, and external vendors to improve system performance and user experience.</li><li>Own documentation, SOPs, and change control for payroll and WFM processes.</li></ul><p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, HR, or a related field.</li><li>7+ years of progressive payroll experience, with at least 3 years managing UKG Pro Payroll and WFM systems.</li><li>Strong knowledge of FLSA, wage and hour laws, and multi-state payroll/tax regulations.</li><li>Experience with system configuration, testing, and reporting (BI tools, Cognos, etc.).</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li>Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage vendor relationships.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>UKG Pro and WFM certifications (Timekeeping, Payroll, etc.).</li><li>Experience with large-scale payroll environments (1000+ employees).</li><li>Familiarity with union environments, complex scheduling, and ACA compliance tracking.</li><li>Knowledge of integrations with Finance, HRIS, and Benefits systems.</li></ul><p><b>Why Join Us?</b></p><ul><li>Be a key driver in modernizing and scaling our HR technology landscape.</li><li>Opportunity to lead impactful UKG initiatives across payroll and timekeeping.</li><li>Competitive salary, bonus, and benefits package.</li><li>Supportive leadership and culture committed to digital transformation and employee experience.</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
