<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><p><p><p>As a US Territory Sales Representative, you will be selling Patient lifts and ICU Boom equipment to hospitals, long-term care homes, retirement homes, and medical equipment distributors within an assigned region of the United States. You will be responsible for developing new business as well as strengthening existing customer relationships. This position includes a base salary of $50,000-$60,000 plus commission, with the ability to earn a first-year OTE of $115,000 with other perks! </p><p></p><p><strong>THE COMPANY & CULTURE</strong></p><p>Founded in 1974, our client designs, manufactures, and markets 100% Canadian-made medical equipment with a broad product range for virtually every department in a healthcare facility. You’ll join a friendly, performance-driven, and fun team—ideal for an energetic salesperson who enjoys new business development.</p><p></p><p><strong>THE LOCATION</strong></p><ul><li>Location: Richmond Hill, ON (head office)</li><li>Work model: During probation, on-site 5 days/week; after probation, hybrid with 2 WFH days and the remainder on-site or travelling.</li><li>Travel: ~25% in the U.S.; must meet Canadian/U.S. travel requirements.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>THE PRODUCT/SERVICE</strong><br />Canadian-manufactured Patient Lifts and ICU Boom equipment.</p><p></p><p><strong>THE POSITION</strong><br />You will sell Patient Lifts and ICU Boom equipment within an assigned US region to drive new business and grow existing accounts. Call points include clinical, technical, and construction stakeholders such as nurses, clinic owners, biomedical and facilities engineers, architects, contractors, and medical equipment distributors.</p><p></p><p><strong>PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS</strong><br />Hospitals, long-term care homes, retirement homes, clinics, and medical equipment distributors. Stakeholders include clinical staff, nursing leadership, biomedical engineers, facilities engineers, clinic owners, architects, and contractors across both existing facilities and new construction projects (initial focus may include the Northeast US).</p><p></p><p><strong>PRODUCT & SALES CYCLE</strong><br />Average order value: varies by configuration and project scope<br />Typical sales cycle: approximately 12 weeks</p><p></p><p><strong>TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES</strong><br />• 60% prospecting and cold outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn)<br />• 40% discovery, <span >presentations/demos,</span> quoting, and closing<br />• Set appointments and build multi-level relationships within healthcare facilities<br />• Manage pipeline and forecasts; after-sale upselling where appropriate<br />• Promote custom healthcare solutions to contractors, facility owners, and clinical teams<br />• Account management for active customers; attend selected trade shows and industry events</p><p></p><p><strong>COMPENSATION & BENEFITS</strong><br />Base salary: $50,000–$60,000 (based on experience)<br />Commissions: uncapped, with bonuses<br />First-year OTE: $115,000+<br />Top performers: $200,000+<br />Benefits & tools: health benefits, laptop, cell phone, travel expenses paid</p><p></p><p><strong>SUPPORT & TRAINING</strong><br />On-the-job product and market training<br />Ongoing mentorship and coaching from sales leadership</p><p></p><p><strong>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND</strong><br />• 1–3 years of inside or outside B2B sales (industry experience not required)<br />• Canadian resident with a valid passport to travel to the US as required<br />• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle<br />• Hunter mindset, strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable with multi-stakeholder sales</p><p></p><p><strong>EDUCATION</strong><br />Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience.</p><p></p><p><strong>TECHNICAL SKILLS</strong><br />MS Office; strong presentation and virtual meeting skills; Google/search proficiency.
