New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an experienced Value Management Consultant to contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of its Information Technology roadmap. As part of a collaborative team of IT consultants, staff, and business experts, you will help ensure that our IT investments and initiatives deliver measurable business value and long-term benefits.
Responsibilities:
Will play a key part in evaluating, planning, sourcing, and governing our IT and security systems.
Will guide the organization in assessing the value of technology initiatives, identifying cost-effective solutions, and ensuring that technology decisions align with both operational goals and fiscal responsibility.
Lead value assessments and cost-benefit analyses for proposed IT initiatives and infrastructure changes.
Support the development of our IT strategy and roadmap with a focus on value creation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate the business impact of IT solutions.
Assist in IT sourcing decisions and vendor evaluations to ensure optimal return on investment.
Work across departments to define metrics for success and monitor outcomes.
Stay informed on emerging technologies and their potential business applications.
Integrate IT security and governance standards into value-based planning.
Requirements:
5+ years in an IT management role.
10+ years of experience in your technical field, with a strong focus on value-driven technology planning.
At least 10 years of experience in full lifecycle IT project deployment.
Proficiency with SCRUM, Waterfall, or other project delivery methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent certifications and training.
Strong understanding of IT security, system governance, and enterprise architecture.
Excellent skills in business analysis, cost modeling, and strategic planning.
