We are looking for a <strong>VDC Coordinator</strong> who will bring expertise, collaboration, and leadership to support our Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) efforts.</p><p>In this role, you will coordinate and support VDC/BIM development on a project-by-project basis, working closely with consultants, trade contractors, and operations staff. You’ll play a key role in ensuring VDC is used to its fullest potential to deliver successful projects.</p><p>What You’ll Do</p><ul><li><p>Lead, coach, and mentor internal project team members to achieve project deliverables.</p></li><li><p>Determine resources required to complete projects in line with commitments.</p></li><li><p>Guide teams through project bids, budgeting, and other pre-construction services.</p></li><li><p>Manage client relationships after project award to ensure an excellent experience and strong retention.</p></li><li><p>Provide preconstruction leadership, encouraging value-based design and innovative solutions.</p></li><li><p>Align project execution plans with Chandos’ core values by overseeing goals, risks, budgets, staffing, milestones, and deliverables.</p></li><li><p>Support and promote a strong safety culture that reflects our corporate strategies and core values.</p></li></ul>Qualifications<br><br><p>What You Bring</p><ul><li><p>A <strong>technical diploma</strong> in a relevant field.</p></li><li><p><strong>2+ years of construction experience</strong> with a general contractor.</p></li><li><p>Strong ability to <strong>read and interpret construction drawings</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Proven <strong>leadership skills</strong> with a collaborative, team-first approach.</p></li><li><p>A <strong>relationship-focused mindset</strong> and excellent communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Solid <strong>working knowledge of VDC software</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Eligibility for certification with <strong>local governing bodies</strong> (ASET, APEGA).</p></li><li><p>Technical proficiency with VDC tools, including (but not limited to) <strong>Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD</strong>, and related software.</p></li><li><p>Must complete a site security clearance.</p></li></ul><br><br>Additional Information<br><br><p><strong>Why Work With Us</strong></p><p>At Chandos, we believe our <strong>differences are our greatest strengths</strong>.
