<p><p><b>Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT</b></p><p>Department: Emergency, ER</p><p>Location: Scarborough, Ontario (GTA)</p><p>Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time available</p><p>Compensation: $27.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience</p><p>Additional Compensation: Premium pay for night shifts</p><p><b>Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital (TVEH)</b> is expanding our ER Team, with Registered Veterinary Technicians ready to enhance their skills while supported in a collaborative team. TVEH is a state-of-the-art veterinary emergency and referral hospital that delivers expert care and treatment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.</p><p>Join our dynamic team at TVEH, where our Triage RVTs play a vital role in assessing incoming patients, prioritizing care, and assisting DVMs with diagnostics, treatments, admissions, and discharges.</p><p>In this role, you will:</p><ul><li>Administer anesthesia for emergency procedures (e.g., GDVs, foreign bodies)</li><li>Provide hands-on patient care for cases like blocked cats, gastroenteritis, fractures, GDVs, and autoimmune diseases</li><li>Assist with stabilization, surgical procedures, and post-op management alongside our specialists</li><li>Be part of a supportive team dedicated to delivering top-tier emergency veterinary care in the GTA</li></ul><h3>Schedule</h3><p>Our triage RVT team rotate schedules 4 on, 4 off with two 10-hour day shifts followed by two 10-hour evening shifts.
