<p><h3>Position Overview</h3><p>Reporting to the General Manager, the Project Manager is the main generator of revenue for the branch and manages all emergency and restoration services provided by <b>First General Property Restoration</b>.</p>
<p>The Project Manager attends job sites, assesses damage, provides data for estimates, offers technical explanations, and strengthens relationships with existing and potential customers through business development and account management activities.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Create, review and edit estimates in accordance with <b>First General</b> estimating standards and insurance compliance SLAs, including accurate floor plans created with provided software.</li>
<li>Participate in all necessary training with insurance‑specific software, sketching/drawing, bid preparation, and photo documentation.</li>
<li>Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines while ensuring all protocols related to insurance, legislation, or division‑specific requirements are followed.</li>
<li>Upload, monitor, revise and update estimates and noting systems in internal and external systems.</li>
<li>Secure authorizations and deposits to commence projects in accordance with office policies and protocols.</li>
<li>Manage and oversee all projects—residential, commercial, and industrial—including high‑risk, high‑exposure, and complex projects.</li>
<li>Ensure scope of work is followed per quoting process to achieve accurate timelines and budgets.</li>
<li>Attend all site meetings and serve as the primary liaison between customers, subcontractors, consultants, engineers, and insurance representatives.</li>
<li>Coordinate and schedule all appointments, provide technical explanations, and give constructive feedback to complete projects on time and on budget.</li>
<li>Ensure applicable permits are in place and meet with inspectors as required; communicate after‑hours emergency job needs.</li>
<li>Work with the Safety Coordinator to incorporate safety requirements into quotes and proposals.</li>
<li>Review and approve project‑based invoices for payment; obtain and submit certificates of completion with invoicing.</li>
<li>Submit interim and end‑of‑project billing; participate in collection efforts for outstanding accounts.</li>
<li>Provide excellent customer service, maintaining attention to detail and safeguarding clients’ property and information.</li>
<li>Practice good housekeeping, maintain a safe and non‑cluttered worksite, and demonstrate understanding of safety principles and procedures.</li>
<li>Comply with all <b>First General</b> policies, procedures, and legislative requirements; proactively communicate job‑site conditions and concerns.</li>
