Job Title: Part-Time Vice President, Finance – 2 Days in a week
Schedule: 2 days on-site per week (they have their team meetings on-site every Wednesday)

A strategic and hands-on VP of Finance to join the senior management team on a part-time basis. This is a high-impact role for a finance leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving clarity, strategy, and process improvement.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as a fully integrated member of the leadership team, attending senior management meetings (on-site Wednesdays).
- Analyze and enhance financial and operational processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Review business strategies and assess financial implications.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis (e.g., cost per journal/paper, pricing strategy, forecasting).
- Identify governance, risk, and treasury-related issues and recommend solutions.
- Coach and mentor both finance and cross-functional team members.
- Contribute to process mapping initiatives and operational efficiency improvements.
- Ensure financial compliance and accurate reporting under ASPE.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally in a private company environment.
- Strong knowledge of ASPE and financial reporting.
- A strategic mindset with hands-on analytical capabilities.
- Comfortable working in a part-time, high-impact capacity.
