IDC is seeking a Vice President to join its Worldwide Services market research and advisory group. The Vice President will manage a team of analysts covering various domains, including business consulting, ESG services, digital business services, IT consulting, and systems integration. The role involves collaboration across IDC’s research areas and industry-specific programs, requiring a highly skilled professional with broad expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of analysts responsible for syndicated and custom research
  • Conduct and publish research on the worldwide services industry, integrating multiple functional markets
  • Lead and collaborate on custom research and strategic assets
  • Engage with IDC analysts globally on cross-initiatives
  • Support IDC sales efforts to deepen client relationships and drive revenue

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in business and technology
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills
  • Deep relationships with service providers and buyers
  • Proven collaboration, problem-solving, and innovative thinking
  • Consultative selling skills
  • Willingness to travel 10-20%
