With a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their operations team and support their growing warehouse and logistics functions.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure all tasks are performed safely and in compliance with applicable health and safety regulations and company policies
- Adhere to safe work practices and promptly report any hazards or safety concerns to the supervisor
- Procure materials with attention to cost-efficiency and quality standards
- Create and manage purchase orders (POs) in accordance with internal guidelines and procedures
- Handle both incoming and outgoing shipments, confirming accuracy, completeness, and condition of all deliveries
- Maintain inventory through regular cycle counts, including boxes, materials, supplies, and stock items
- Assist with packing outgoing shipments, occasionally involving minor assembly work
- Prepare items for delivery by securing loads, protecting materials from environmental exposure, and ensuring proper documentation accompanies each shipment
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and departments via phone and email
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- Familiarity with Oracle and WebHelp systems is an asset
- Experience operating an overhead crane is an advantage
- Minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse or similar environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
