Our client, a respected organization in the insurance sector, is seeking a Workforce Planning Manager. This is a key opportunity for a strategic and analytical professional to contribute to workforce forecasting, capacity planning, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide insights to senior leadership, and help shape long-term staffing strategies to support the organization’s growth and continuous improvement efforts.



Responsibilities:


A growing organization is seeking a Workforce Planning Manager to lead the design and implementation of workforce strategies that ensure teams are efficiently staffed, operationally aligned, and prepared to support long-term business goals.

This role plays a central part in shaping workforce governance, optimizing capacity planning, and driving performance across the organization.



The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with large datasets, and confident presenting workforce insights to leadership. This is a strategic role that works cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Operations, and other departments to support both short- and long-term planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

– In this role, the Workforce Planning Manager will manage staffing models and align resource planning with both operational and financial goals.

– They will forecast workforce needs over a 1-3 year horizon, considering factors such as business growth, attrition, and process improvements.


– They’ll also be responsible for building and maintaining long-term planning frameworks that include forecasting, performance metrics, and

staffing assumptions, while collaborating across departments to monitor supply and demand and suggest adjustments.


– The role involves leading the development of headcount and capacity models to support ongoing business demands.

– The manager will analyze workforce data using predictive tools, identify areas for optimization, and report on key performance indicators


and staffing gaps to senior leadership.

– Ensuring workforce strategies align with overall business objectives and cost targets is a key component of this function.


– Collaboration is central to this position.

The Workforce Planning Manager will work with HR and functional business leaders to align workforce

planning with talent acquisition, retention, and organizational structure.


– They’ll support onboarding and implementation planning for new initiatives and partner with continuous improvement teams to ensure operational

efficiencies are factored into workforce strategies.


– Additionally, they will act as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders to guide data-informed workforce decisions.


Requirements:

– The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in workforce planning, operations, or a similar field, with a proven ability to develop strategic plans and analyze complex data.

– Experience working cross-functionally with HR, finance, and operations teams is important.


– They should have strong Excel skills and be confident using reporting and data visualization tools like PowerPoint and dashboards.

– Excellent communication skills and the ability to present workforce insights to senior leadership are essential.


– This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

– A proactive, adaptable mindset and a background in business, operations, or HR supported by a relevant degree
