Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Walton Street Steam Plant.</li></ul><ul><li>Performs maintenance and housekeeping tasks when not providing shift relief.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensurescompliance with OHSA regulations and internal health and safety policies.</li></ul><ul><li>Carries out other maintenance-related tasks as directed by the Chief Engineer or their designate.</li></ul><p></p><p>About Your Experience and Qualifications</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Hold a 2nd Class Operating Engineer Certificate.</li></ul><ul><li>Hold a valid <span >Ontariodriverslicense.</span></li></ul><ul><li>Havea minimum of 3 years of experience operating asShiftEngineer.</li></ul><ul><li>Must be able to cover rotating shifts asrequiredand accommodate work schedule changes on short notice.</li></ul><ul><li>Must have a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely perform maintenance tasks alone or in a team setting.</li></ul><ul><li>Self-<span >motivatedindividualcapable</span> of working with minimum supervision.</li></ul><ul><li>This position will have direct contact with service contractors, suppliers, inspectors (insurance and government)and customers.</li></ul><ul><li>Attendance, punctuality, appearance, and <span >positivebehaviorrequiredto</span> foster positive relations with contractors, clients, staff, etc., that is in line with a leadership position.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><em>At Enwave, we embrace diversity and equal opportunity.
