Job Description
<p><p>Out client is a brokerage specializing in importing and exporting between Canada and the US. They are growing and are looking to augment their IT department with 2 application developers.</p><p>These individuals will think creatively and possess extensive experience in Visual Studio .NET, C#, VB, and ASP for Windows and the Internet. You will carry out major development tasks and work in a team environment on complex enterprise level business applications. Experience in customs, importing, exporting, logistics, supply chain and transportation is considered an asset.</p>
<h3>Education Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>4 Year University Degree in Applied Computer Science or equivalent 3 Year College Diploma</li>
</ul>
<h3>Experience Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>5 years experience with c#, vb.net developing both client windows and web based software.</li>
<li>5+ years experience with SQL Server trigger and stored procedure development</li>
<li>Competent with VBScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS</li>
<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate technical constructs in user-friendly manner</li>
<li>Excellent listening and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail</li>
