We are actively seeking a Full-Time, Automotive Apprentice Lube Technician to join our exceptional service department. </p><p><strong>Roles & Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li><strong>Conducting Vehicle Inspections</strong>: You are responsible for conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any issues or potential problems, ensuring the inspection is documented via Video Multipoint Inspection. </li><li><strong>Diagnosing issues</strong>: You will use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues with vehicles and adequately document the problem and recommended repair. </li><li><strong>Perform Repairs and maintenance:</strong> You are responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on vehicles. </li><li><strong>Communicate with Service Advisors: </strong>You will communicate regularly with service advisors to provide updates on the status of repairs and to discuss any issues or concerns related to vehicle repairs. </li><li><strong>Maintaining a clean, safe & organized workspace:</strong> You are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. </li></ul><p><strong>Measurables: </strong></p><ul><li><strong><span >Efficiency/Productivity:</span></strong> This measures the amount of work completed by the technician in each time period, such as hours billed, or cars serviced. </li><li><strong>Comeback Rate: </strong>This measures the percentage of jobs that require the technician to redo part or all their previous work due to error or dissatisfaction on the customer&#39;s part. </li><li><strong>Time to Repair:</strong> This measures the amount of time it takes the technician to complete a repair job, from diagnosis to completion. </li><li><strong>Training and Certification</strong>: This measures the technician&#39;s level of training and certification, which indicates their ability to work on newer vehicles and more complex systems. </li><li><strong>Customer Satisfaction:</strong> This measures how satisfied customers are with the quality of the technician&#39;s work and their overall experience at the dealership&#39;s service department. </li></ul><p><strong>Compensation:</strong><br><br></p><p>The total hourly compensation range for the Lube Technician position at the Applewood Auto Group is <strong>$17.85 to $18.85 per hour.</strong> The final hourly rate offered will be determined based on the candidate&#39;s knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as other relevant factors.
