<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Automotive Service Technician – Collision-Oriented Mechanical & Diagnostics</strong><p><strong>Location:</strong> Hamilton, ON<br /><strong>Company:</strong> CSN RSK Downtown (Collision & Mechanical Division)</p><p>CSN RSK Downtown is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled <strong>Automotive Service Technician</strong> to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collision-repair environment and has strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic capabilities.</p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong><ul><li> Perform mechanical repairs related to collision damage (suspension, steering, cooling systems, mechanical teardown & re-assembly, etc.) </li><li> Carry out advanced <strong>electrical diagnostics</strong>, fault-finding, and system testing on modern vehicles, including EV and hybrid platforms </li><li> Complete pre- and post-repair scans, calibrations, and system resets as required </li><li> Document findings, repair recommendations, and completed work accurately </li><li> Work closely with collision technicians, appraisers, and estimators to ensure proper repair flow </li><li> Road test vehicles to verify repair integrity and safety </li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong><ul><li><strong>Minimum 5 years</strong> of hands-on automotive repair experience </li><li> Strong experience in <strong>electrical diagnostics, wiring repairs, module testing</strong>, and CAN-bus systems </li><li> Must hold a valid <strong>Ontario 310B Technician Certificate</strong></li><li> Clean and valid <strong>G-class driver’s licence</strong> with a clean driving abstract </li><li> Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and adapt to modern collision-repair workflows </li><li> Experience with OEM procedures, scan tools, and diagnostic platforms is strongly preferred </li><li> EV experience considered an asset </li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong><ul><li> Competitive pay based on experience </li><li> Modern, clean facility with advanced equipment </li><li> Exposure to high-end and EV vehicles </li><li> Strong, supportive team culture </li><li> Opportunities for growth as we expand our mechanical and calibration operations </li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
