<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Install, configure, and test CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, access control, and related security equipment.</p></li><li><p>Run and terminate cables (Cat5e, Cat6, coaxial, fiber, etc.) as required for system setup.</p></li><li><p>Conduct site surveys and provide recommendations for optimal camera placement.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot system issues, perform repairs, and carry out preventive maintenance.</p></li><li><p>Ensure installations comply with safety codes, company standards, and customer requirements.</p></li><li><p>Provide training and basic technical support to clients on using CCTV systems.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and inventory used.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other technicians as needed.</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications & Skills</p><ul><li><p>C-Class Electrician License as a must</p></li><li><p>High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary training in electronics, IT, or security systems is an asset).</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of IP cameras, video management software (VMS), and remote monitoring systems.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, floor plans, and technical manuals.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with Canadian electrical and building codes is an asset.</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and customer service abilities.</p></li><li><p>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently or as part of a team.</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when required.</p></li></ul><p>Working Conditions</p><ul><li><p>Field-based role; travel across Winnipeg and surrounding areas.</p></li><li><p>May require lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs) and working outdoors in various weather conditions.</p></li><li><p>Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends, depending on client needs.</p></li></ul><p>Compensation & Benefits</p><ul><li><p>Competitive hourly wage or salary (based on experience).</p></li><li><p>Training and career development opportunities.</p></li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
