<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Civil Site Superintendent</strong><br /><strong>Earthworks, Bridge, Municipal works</strong><br /><strong>Richmond Hill, ON</strong><br /><strong>Salary Range $125-$130K, depending on experience</strong></p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to oversee our client's field operations and ensure the successful completion of projects.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise and coordinate daily field activities, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.</li><li>Manage foremen and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality control, and work methodologies.</li><li>Conduct daily toolbox talks and progress review meetings to plan work execution with foremen.</li><li>Enforce compliance with COR IHSA safety regulations, conducting site inspections and ensuring proper safety protocols.</li><li>Oversee equipment operation and work methodologies, ensuring best practices for site efficiency.</li><li>Ensure operators complete equipment circle checks, incident reports, time sheets, and daily logs correctly.</li><li>Coordinate material deliveries, site security (cameras, lighting, fencing), and equipment tracking.</li><li>Maintain daily logs, crew productivity reports, and site issue records </li><li>Provide daily updates to support scheduling, budgeting, and overall project tracking.</li><li>Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of civil construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role on infrastructure projects</li><li>Strong knowledge of earthworks, grading, excavation, compaction, concrete forming, paving, and underground utilities.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.</li><li>Experience with Topcon GPS, MS Project, Revu, or similar tools for project tracking and reporting.</li><li>Knowledge of heavy equipment operation (excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders) and an understanding of maintenance and safety procedures. <em></em></li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage and guide site staff, including foremen and subcontractors.</li><li>Ability to manage site operations without direct intervention from foremen, ensuring smooth execution of work.</li><li>Health and safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, First Aid, OSHA, COR IHSA compliance).</li><li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks effectively.</li></ul><p>Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required.</p><ul><li>Competitive compensation package based on experience.</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits.</li><li>Company-provided truck, laptop, and phone.</li><li>Opportunity to work on high-profile civil infrastructure projects across Southern Ontario.</li><li>Supportive team environment with strong leadership and growth opportunities.</li><li>Vast opportunities for career advancement</li></ul><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Company car</li><li>Company events</li><li>Dental care</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Vision care</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
