Whether our clients are looking at greenfield construction or retrofitting an existing facility, we have the in-house expertise to take their project from vision to reality.</p><p>To add to this expertise,<br>we are recruiting for a Concrete & Rebar Draftsperson for our Winnipeg office location, to join our collaborative and team focused organization.</p><p>We have a lot to offer you<br>– profit sharing, RRSPs, benefits, professional training, just to name a few.</p><p>As our Concrete & Rebar Draftsperson, you will be responsible preparing accurate, clear, and complete working plans and detail drawings that facilitate the construction of concrete and rebar which meet the client's needs and the company's requirements in a timely manner.</p><p>Position Overview:</p><ul><li>Works with the sales team, Design Engineer and Project Planner to<br> prepare preliminary drawings for estimating<br> and presentation purposes. This may involve<br> modifying existing drawings or creating new drawings<br> .</li><li>Produce finished drawings based on input from the Design Engineer, Drawing Office Manager, and Project Manager.</li><li>Prepares BOM<br> for rebar and verifies accuracy.</li><li>Develops drawings in<br> 2D and 3D<br> , including general arrangements and setup of site plans & site layout drawings with appropriate survey benchmark information.</li><li>Makes revisions<br> to drawings as required during the<br> design and construction phase<br> of the project.</li><li>Follows FWS drawing standards and protocols when preparing drawings.</li></ul><p>Qualifications Needed:</p><ul><li>Proficient in the use of<br> Revit. RebarCAD, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, & Navisworks experience is an asset. Experience in using UTM coordinate systems would also be an asset.</li><li>Has an aptitude for visualizing in 3 dimensional.</li><li>Proficiency in<br> concrete/rebar layout and detailing</li><li>Willingness to take personal pride and responsibility of drawings to ensure that the highest levels of quality and accuracy.</li><li>Knowledge of<br> building applications, construction and relevant building codes<br> is an asset.</li><li>Additional computer skills including<br> Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and 3D drafting<br> are an asset.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li><li>Proficient understanding of survey drawings & using coordinate systems in AutoCAD.</li><li>Travel<br> to jobsites required occasionally.</li></ul><p>Want to know more?<br>Apply through our<br>career board.
