<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Construction Project Manager<br />Greater Toronto Area<br />Full time</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Overview</strong><br />We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial interior renovation and tenant improvement projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate has a strong background managing multiple projects simultaneously, working in occupied spaces, coordinating with clients and consultants, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This role requires a detail oriented leader who is comfortable owning the full lifecycle of construction delivery.</p><p><strong><br /></strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br />• Manage all phases of construction projects including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, coordination, and delivery<br />• Lead project planning, setting up timelines, scopes, and cost controls to ensure successful execution<br />• Oversee subcontractor selection, contract administration, change management, and purchase orders<br />• Conduct regular site meetings, review progress, monitor safety, and ensure quality control<br />• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, trades, and internal teams<br />• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation<br />• Review drawings, specifications, and vendor proposals to identify risks or scope gaps<br />• Maintain project budgets, update forecasting, and track cost impacts throughout the project lifecycle<br />• Collaborate with site supervisors and field teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum<br />• Ensure project closeout is completed accurately including deficiencies, turnover packages, warranties, and final invoicing<br />• Manage multiple concurrent fit-out and renovation projects ranging from small scale updates to larger multi-floor programs</p><p><strong><br /></strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong><br />• Minimum five years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction or interiors<br />• Demonstrated experience managing interior fit-outs, renovations, or tenant improvement projects<br />• Strong understanding of drawings, construction sequencing, permitting, and building code requirements<br />• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors effectively<br />• Excellent communication and client management skills<br />• Proficient with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent<br />• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once<br />• Valid driver’s license and ability to attend project sites across the GTA</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>What We Offer</strong><br />• Competitive salary and performance based incentives<br />• Comprehensive benefits package<br />• Opportunities for growth in a well established construction environment<br />• Supportive team culture and exposure to high quality commercial projects</p><p><br /></p><p>#STWI </p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
